both my early 80 year old parents had the fizer one a couple of weeks ago and they were and are fine, it is a bit of a p1ss take that they now have to wait 12weeks for the second

Just checked in with her again and she’s got a sore arm. Fine other than that thank goodness.
Time will tell on the dosing.

first main dose of the 0xford one is quite gloopy/thick, think fizer may be the other way round with second dose having an effect ?

This is interesting to read about how people are reacting to their vaccinations. I know a couple of people who have had covid and were then a bit poorly after their first astrazeneca jab. If you already have antibodies then the jab makes you body have an immune response. Which is a good sign it is all working.

I had covid during the first lockdown. Very unpleasant but did not need to be hospitalised.

I think the whole vaccine program in the UK has been exceptional to date, irrespective of the negative aspects with regard to effectiveness which have recently been over publicized. That is nothing to do with the roll out which we should be proud of. The vaccines we have are definitely going to save lives and that is what it is all about.

My 98 year old dad has had both now. First December 18th, 2nd Jan 8th. He didn't have any effects from either.
