@Wattie gets here, I guess someone should quickly say on his behalf that this may depend on your age, and other factors. My understanding is that you are more likely to die from a blood clot arising from a long-haul flight, taking the Pill, having a bad case of COVID, or reading some of the posts in this thread, than from the vaccine, but that your likelihood of catching and dying from COVID in general is very dependent on your circumstance and location.
Hence Denmark saying, a little strangely, but maybe logically, "The AZ vaccine is pretty safe and people should generally have it, but here in Denmark we are not giving it because we are almost all vaccinated now, so the (tiny) COVID risk is lower than the (tiny) vaccine risk."
