Anyone had experience of an Arnage?

So i am seriously thinking of a Bentley Arnage as a daily Driver. I love the Red Label, i am aware of HG issues. I don’t mind the mpg or servicing costs and love the classic looks of the 2001/2002 versions.

What i don’t know is whether it can be used as a daily. Has or does anyone use one as a daily?

All opinions welcome..got the same ‘gut feeling’ as when i was considering my 4200 and love that..

Always follow your gut instincts is my moto.
I used to do some work for an old Garage owner in Weston super Mare and he had one from new which I drove and it was Special.
Servicing 20 years ago at Broughtons in Cheltenham made your eyes water though.

If you ran a 4200 as a daily you’ll have no problem with the Bentley. I’d look at a late Turbo R as a comparison too. I think they’re airier inside.

I think the servicing still will

The one that shocked me was the complete replacement of the braking system every so many years something like 6 if I remember correctly.
We both discussed it at length and even though he could afford it that was declined as he only used the car occasionally mostly going for drives in the early hours where people wouldn't see the car and do any damage to it.

I have seen this one and spoke to the specialist who services it who says it is a lovely car..probably going to go and see it next week

Hmmm. Rare colour. I would say that metallic pink will make it a tough sell.
On the upside, I like the green umbrellas.

Personally, for similar money I’d be going for a RR Silver Spirit, RR Silver Spur or Bentley Turbo, in dark blue, dark red, or dark green.

Take a look at Augusta Automotive at Blandford Forum, Dorset. They are close to me and usually have a selection of such vehicles.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly, except I think a golf umbrella should be multi-coloured.
