Any experiences moving from GTS to F430?

That’s exactly what I did. I didn’t have the balls to put £150k into a car as the most expensive sports car I had owned to date was the GT - so going from £30 to £80-90k was already scary - independently than what I could afford.

If I ever sell my F430 I would now feel more comfortable to own a £130-150k car now - as it’s only really a £50k step up from where I stand now... as long as they’re not depreciating much

But that's money well spent (or invested ;) ), sir!
After owning the F430 for nearly 5 years and drive the **** out of it, I made a very decent profit when selling it 2 months ago.
Probably I was Lucky with that profit, but I'm convinced F430's will keep their value, so little to non risk loosing money

What about my poor 348? ;) (Rangies stablemate.)

I’m not up on 348 values, so thought it best to leave that one out. And 328, 308, etc. But please do add it to the list. Is it the secret bargain of the lot of them?!

The manufacturer would need to prove that the change caused the issue. Not sure I'd want the argument, though.

Well - that’s why the MP4 is “so cheap” a such a recent and capable car. Reliability reputation is poor. Electric and some parts of the power train. Supposedly makes the F430 cheap to maintain in comparison.
Although you could be lucky and buy a good one that never has any problem, I believe the price difference between the F430 and mp4 points to the desirability and reliability situation

I just saw a youtube film on why the 12c is so cheap... He needed a new steerling column and it cost 35'000 dollars and a new battery 3000 dollars... at those prices a 12c will soon be less than a strad

Yes, I'd heard about the 12C batteries being made from ground unicorn horn and mermaid blood. Makes a nice new Bosch for the kind of cars we drive seem like the bargain of the century!

Every Ferrari dealer I spoke to said Ferrari were very strict on aftermarket parts and any one fitted to any part would void the warranty. I don’t know the ins and outs of the law on it- but they were all very clear.
I thought a Cali T was being referred to, but yes it’s an option on an old N/A cali out of warranty if an aftermarket warranty could be added.

EU laws are pretty clear, so whilst Ferrari may have its own rules they can't contract out of the law.

Since when does the law stop most corporate business these days from infringing it often on a technicality ;)

I suppose that depends largely on who has the most money to invest in corporate lawyers, the most patience, and the most tolerance for the stress, anxiety and time that even starting legal proceedings takes. You want to take Ferrari to court? I'd guess most individuals would blink first. At the same time, I'm guessing most people who buy a Ferrari new or nearly new don't head straight to Larini. Us lot? - we're special!

I know someone who lives near me has just taken Sky to court! Seems to be getting good responses so far. Good to see.

Fvck, yes!

And that's the thing - if you've got the balls and the patience and the money or know-how to do it then it needs doing. But many people wither in the face of a legal letter with fancy archaic language and references and all that bollox, and don't take it any further.

They pay over 100pm to Sky and can barely use anything due to being rural and FTTC not working well or much. Funny that...the run is nearly 6km!

Anyway he thought I'll throw a few quid at them with some kick off litigation. They appointed a subby to run private fibre all the way down the lanes to near his house ready for running in within two weeks!

Quality! He's probably got the fastest broadband in the land. When will he ditch Sky for Virgin? :)

Indeed. No Virgin here..... bit off the beaten track. Not likely to be.

Just about to put my own 1gb private circuit in then chop it up and run some fibres to my neighbours so they can have 100mb a piece. I'm nice like that. Better than relying on the slow **** govt and Openreach in being able to deliver us more than 2mb!
