Hi Gary,

Glad you decided to join the madness.

Gary and his wife Sian are old friends of mine and proper car people.

Sian chose my MCV as her wedding car a few years ago, so I may even be a bit to blame for this recent purchase!

Regards,
Robin

I think very much to blame Robin. No regrets though. Loving the car.

So my first question to the Forum as a new member and owner of a Maerati is any recommendations as to where I should source a heated mirror glass as I've noticed that the driver side is not de-misting (I'm hoping it's only the glass that's at fault). The part is warranted but the seller asked me to source. Is it only a Maserati part or would it be available by any other means ? Any information will be gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

Welcome along & what a fantastic car you have there!

Aside from main dealers, you can try other parts specialists who stock OEM parts outside of the dealer network and you make some savings, but due to the relative low production numbers, parts such as these tend not to be made as pattern parts.
You can try Eurospares or Scuderia who should be able to help.

Good luck & enjoy

A huge welcome to 2 seater madness. Don't listen to those jealous bu55ers and the colour comments ....

Nice indeed. No white comments, promise....

Glass can be had from Meridien Modena, quote the forum for a discount.

Now buy a Larini x-pipe and never look back!

Ha, there definitely seems to be a difference of opinion when it comes to colour. I think it looks stunning. To be fair I think it would look stunning in most colours. Thanks for the info regarding the mirror glass. The Larini x-pipe seems a popular mod. Is there a big difference in noise/performance ?
