That is shocking, I'd be demanding they were replaced with stainless steel
Agreed, will get the screws (actually 2 screws affected), which are exposed to any rain water under the top of the front bonnet, changed. Wonder if other MC20’s have this ‘small’ issue.

Actually it was less than 6 weeks, pretty much straight out of the box. I’ve also cleaned it previously and it’s back again after some rain so confirms it’s rust.
Defo rust.
Worth just taking to a nut and bolt supplier and replacing with stainless steel.
If that is to bright, and it's only retaining trim pieces, anodised aluminium. The biker boys use these.
You shouldn't have too of course!

I'd say that is a manufacturing fault, they popped the wrong or incorrectly treated bolts in. I would definitely complain.

The gran tourismos have that problem too with the engine cover (the big plastic things) that I my case was solved by painting them. Oh, and I stopped wet-washing the car too.
