Cheers all.
One life live it and all that.
Its nice to have options and I like the adventure of it.
Slowly selling things down here ready for going LHD.
Don't fancy shipping cars such a long way again so priority it my Tools.
Tickets booked coming home via visiting my twin bro in KL as not seen him in 5 years.
Going to have 3 months to catch our breath and do some visiting.
Will have to buy a car ;)

Kin'ell mate, that's not like you.. you could have sent her back over to France for 18 months or so to earn some cash, that way when you roll up 2 years later there a nice house and a couple of cars on the drive;)

You only get stitched once!

Would a self-teach Ling**phone course be of any interest?
Picked up the full blown "dum-fu*k to expert" course several years back.
Can't beat absorbing language from local life but it would be a good intro.
Could be of interest trying various Apps at the moment pm me details please.

That's the one I really would like to keep but I think it will be going to Australia mate.

A secondhand left hooker Peugeot awaits then  first impressions will be, what the f*cks that! I did a five year stint in France, admittedly down the south next to the Italian border

It's a lovely country, not sure about the average Frenchie though, I think there still smarting from Agincourt

Given the go ahead today for Driving so this weekend is going to be a Road Trip after 2.5 months. Can't wait.

Things are happening quickly.
The Mini Clubman and all my collected spares sold.
Just watched my Daimler XJC drive off with it's new owner.
That's one car I have really enjoyed and will miss.
It will probably go up in value and out of my range to own again.
First viewer bought her.
Now just 3 more cars and my motorbike to go before October.

That must be painful Phil, I struggle to let any vehicle go. All for a good cause though, life throws some curved balls doesn’t it.

The Daimler and the Clubman I’d struggle to see go, Phil. Well done on the fast sales, though.

Any closer idea of what part of Northern France you are going to?

I take it I’m putting you down for Le Mans next year :)

My partner has never been so I want to take her and if I'm brave I will introduce her to you lot.
Going to be Laval Matt.

I'd leave her at home Phil... That way you can have a good time out with your mates without feeling guilty:cool:

Slowly settling into the French way.
Now to start the hunt for some R5 Gordini bits and pieces to make her a bit of Fun.
Glad I shipped my engine crane now in the container.

Told it comes with a free baguette, some cheese and onions hanging from the rear view mirror.

It's not got a Reverse gear more "retreat" and the handbrake is a called a "surrender stick".

I saw a fast, or at least loud, R4 around Sittingbourne a few years ago. I thought it was uber cool.

This and a Saab 96 V4 are my two classic car wants (well obviously a R5 Turbo 2 and A110 too but prices are well out of reach these days).

Looking forward to seeing what you make of this.

I want to retain its charm along with carrying out the kind of mods that I feel appropriate.
She certainly won't be getting the Ali G Maxpower treatment trust me.
