After 5 years, and only 10k miles of ownership, i've decided to sell due to current circumstances and the need for something more practical. Unfortunately, I don’t have the luxury of time to advertise in the usual places, with all that entails.
It's a 2005 duo-select Quattroporte, with 80856 miles currently, and in a good used condition. It's finished in 'Blu Malago', and apparently there were only 3 right hand drive models produced for the UK in this colour.
I have contacted Maserati recently for a build sheet as I didn't purchase from new. They have confirmed additional spec of a multi CD (in addition to dash CD), heated front seats, Navtrac anti-theft system, rear door side blinds, electric rear window blind, Sports pack, and contrasting stitching on all leather. There is also a remote operation of front passenger seat from rear centre arm rest, which I believe may be an extra. It also has a chrome mesh front grille, rather than the standard slats.
I purchased it privately in March 2015 with approx 71000 miles.
There is a complete service history, with the first few years' services carried out by Dick Lovett (Swindon), and subsequent ones by Templetons Sports & Performance Specialists (Rushden), and Bavaria Auto-Werke (Aberdeen) prior to my purchase, and all recorded in the service book.
Shortly after purchase I had an inspection carried out, with a full service, by PK Supercars (Elphinstone, Edinburgh). Some maintenance was carried out at this time too. Servicing after this has been attended to locally, due the distance to the nearest specialist. The more recent services are not recorded in the book, but receipts confirm all details.
All repairs and work have been done promptly and correctly, using Maserati parts where possible. Among other things, i've had the sub-frames treated with Dinitrol protection in 2017, with new tyres, brakes, and springs in 2018. I have kept receipts for all work done.
It's been kept in a heated garage since purchase, regularly valeted, and pampered (according to my wife).
The car is not perfect, but I believe it to be in a good condition for its age. There are signs of oxidisation to door mirrors, and leading edge of bonnet and boot. There is also 3 small areas requiring rust treatment (both leading edges of rear wheel arches, and a spot near the side indicator on front wing. This would need to be considered, but panels are in otherwise good condition with no dents. The interior is in a good used condition too for 15 years old, with scuffs through usage, but no marks on dash or headlining. The front parking sensors require attention. It has original Maserati glass all round.
The MOT is due in the coming weeks, and so this is currently being attended to.
I'm looking for around £7k, but would consider a lower offer for a quick sale.
