... spyders for sale on PH. Last week, there were at least 8. Some seem to have disappeared without trace, i.e. not sold.

There are more Bugatti Veyrons for sale on PH for heaven's sake!

Is this number of spyders typical? Is it likely to go up as summer comes around?

A bit frustrating if you're looking to buy...

I'd like a low-mileage car (wouldn't we all), but I'm flexible about year, even though I've been advised to look for as new a model as possible. Mind you, there are very few 04/05 cars out there though and I can't say I'm fond of the louvred grill on the 05s. There's an 05 on Autotrader, but it has the rather funereal combination of black paint and black leather interior. OK if you're a drug-dealer, I suppose (not that I'm suggesting that the current owner is, of course).

I may go and have a look at this if the servicing is up to spec:

I realise the 02s are a bit prone to scuttle shake and aren't as taut as the later cars, but I don't see me doing track days in it or trying to burn off 911s at the lights!

btw I love the Gransport Spyder you have for sale, but it's a bit above my budget...

I suppose I should have added that I'm a bit picky about colour - silver metallics with red leather look best to me, but I may have to overlook colour choice in the long run....

Beggars and choosers GR......a rare car.....you could wait a long time for all the correct combos and needs to be met....ie right colour etc....service history.....perfect order etc.......

P - you're right, but I'll probably give it another month or so before taking further action. As you know, the Ringwood car didn't come up to spec, but I did look fairly seriously...

.....no doubt GR....but at the days improve......the prices dis-improve!!!!! Keep your eyes peeled...or ask DG through his contacts....lots of cars don't reach the advert stage....its sometimes about who you know!
