Am I crazy?

I have always had an obsession with a Stradale in white with all the carbon fibre bits, but simply could not resist the opportunity to buy Stu’s Stradale back in November.

Now that one came up at GC Motors (anyone had any experience with them?), link here -

Am I crazy to trade in a perfectly good Stradale (having spent about 1000 having car inspected for warranty repair and paint sealant) for pretty much the same car (well, one year younger and slightly less mileage), just for the white colour and carbon fibre bits?

How much would the price differ between a 2014 and 2015 Stradale?

Your view and opinion is very much appreciated!

Thanks

Well, provisionally... provided they could move the carbon fibre instrument cluster.

Wrapping is not my cup of tea, I like my car nice and shiny, and just love the white/carbon contrast(but without the naked carbon fibre bonnet).

Yeah, I’ve been looking at that one and thinking how good it looks. They sent me a video and history all seems good. What colour combo is your current Stradale?

You'd not be crazy, as long as the cost to change is reasonable (i.e. a few grand). After all, both cars are quite expensive, so you might as well have the one in the spec/colour you want.

(And if a 2-seat Strad should happen to crop up in blue, I'll be changing my black one for it.)

I bought my first Grancabrio from them. Mixed feedback. Great at selling the car but tried to stitch us up with the trade in on the day, wanting to knock a chunk off it saying they hadn’t seen the ‘road rash’ on the front end... that did spoil what up to that point had been a really good experience. They operate a policy though of if you walk out to think about a deal then the car is fair game for the other sales team, it worked out well for us, but it’s something to remember.

Black with the same interior as the white one, minus the carbon kick plate and centre console around the 1 and R buttons.

Outside, it does not have the carbon pack, I guess it makes little sense as you can hardly see them on a black car.

I see, a bit like webuyanycars trying to pick on every single imperfection on a second hand car so that they could knock down the price further.

I will be walking away if they try stitching me up like that - Nothing to lose really, because I have already got one. Although I do like the colour and carbon packs combo !

You have made me feel better now, maybe I am not crazy, but just obsessed with the Maserati!

I nearly walked when they tried it as we’d already agreed a price with the salesman. All ended up ok but it was a stand-off for a few minutes.
