Good evening everyone, I hope you're enjoying the heatwave and that your cars' cooling systems are coping ok. Mine has been at Shiltech for almost 2 weeks so I have not been able to see how it copes in this heat, but I will be there to collect it tomorrow finally. It turns out that Maserati UK do no have any oil pressure senders in stock so one had to be imported from Europe but it's all done now, along with various other bits I had on my list of course!

One of the other jobs to attend to is the poor radio reception on the standard Becker stereo which I know are temperamental being on the rear window. I wanted to ask if anyone has successfully tried any other solutions to this problem such as the stick on, inside window type or the under-dashboard type? I really don't want to drill the bodywork or use a magnetic stick on.

I would be interested to hear any shared experiences as whilst I do love to listen to the V8, the football season starts in a month so I need to be able to hear some 5 Live!

Thanks all

I'll check mine I have an aftermarket sony mp3 player/cd/radio with no issues, not sure what or where it uses as an aerial.

Stuart, all you need is a new rear windscreen...I think the first two top elements act as the aerial..

Thanks Alan & Dave

Sounds like a good option in an ideal world Dave, provided the one I find has a decent aerial on it I guess. Plus I may need to change the window seal when replacing it so it could be a little cost prohibitive but I will look into it definitely.

Cheers
