So leading on from

and
https://www.sportsmaserati.com/inde...e-thinking-of-selling-soon.27424/#post-656411

A purchase has been made. (well deposit paid) :) a 2011 Granturismo S MC-Shift, 26k miles, in Nero Carbonio.

My Maserati shopping experience hasn't been the smoothest or easiest if I'm honest, (maybe do another thread on it at another time just for entertainment) but I'm glad I'm finally nearing the finishing line.

I ended up stretching the budget a fair bit to get the car I've settled on, and I hope that pays off. It's certainly not the 'bargain' I was hoping to get this time of year, and against my better judgement I've put a deposit on it unseen and untested  which is something I said I'd never ever do! (I have seen pictures and a video)

However, as it's coming from Dicky Grace, who I know is very well respected on here, and I have been assured by Marios at Autoshield that its a good car, and has just been inspected, serviced and a new clutch fitted at their's last week. So I'm sure it'll be a good'n and hopefully I will get a couple of years without needing to spend on it....(well, that's what made it work on my man-maths spreadsheet);)

So....Roll on Tuesday!!!! :D

That is great news....Don't think you will go far wrong from buying from Dicky. It will be a good one. Look forward to seeing some pictures when you get her.

Used Richard for two purchases and one sale...his stock is always first rate. You will not be disappointed.

Richard, Dickie, Lord Dick of Chester, call him what you will, he's a gent. A rare breed these days in any field - what you see is what you get. No BS. Backed up by Marios at Autoshield gives complete confidence. RG just does it right!

#knowthefeeling - Having just spent more than I had budgeted for is a bit of a pain but buying from RG certainly was not - I quite genuinely believe he don’t sell shite - relax, good move, enjoy.......

I also bought my car without having seen it, and was happy to trust that if Richard said it was a good ‘un then all would be good. This turned out to be completely true....

Maybe we need a new subsection of the forum!... there but for the Grace go I
