Alignment - South East?

Can anyone recommend somewhere in the south east (I'm in Surrey) where I can get my GT wheel alignment check/adjusted?

The GT will not be going to the same place as my BMW went

I'm looking to swap out the P-Zero tyres soon for a set of PS4s, so it seems like the right thing to do given the uneven wear.

I only use Wheels in Motion/Protyre in Chesham. They have a Hunter machine and know how to use it properly! Every car I've taken there for full geo comes out night and day different. Bit of a trek for you possibly, but well worth it in my opinion.

100% wheels in motion, their work has transformed all the cars I have ever taken there.

Thanks - not too bad for me to get there.

There is a pro-tyre centre closer to me, but I don't think they have the hunter machine. Also just saw through Asda tyres (lol) they are doing a full set of pilot sport 4s for under £1k inc fitting.

I meant to add, do they need specs providing, or do they just know how to work magic?

I was going to suggest WIM but felt it might be a bit too far. I would totally recommend them.

They have all the specs. Lots of garages have Hunter machines, WiM know how to get the best out of them. Joe is very highly trained and a thoroughly decent chap as well.

I live in Kingston, Surrey but used WiM as previously recommended on here & was very happy with their work.

I was about to write a new post on this subject when I was this one. Last week my QPV went to SportsItalia for a couple of bushes, handbrake (whoever invented the electric handbrake should be shot! A solution to a problem nobody had!) and two essential jobs, sub frame underseal and wheel alignment. The transformation in steering and handling is incredible. If you have not had yours done recently, I recommend it as the best £200+VAT I have spent on a car in a long time. Great job Matt and Ash! Thanks

Are WIM equipped to change shims as I believe to get Gransport done properly some shims need either adding or removing?

Not sure on a Maserati, but they certainly used shims to get my classic Mustang sorted

They always had whatever was needed for my GS when I took it every 18 months for checking and adjustment.

How did you get on?

Apparently the person with knowledge at WIM sold the business as he was unwell, and unfortunatley recently passed. Not sure how that changes there offering/reputation.

I have booked an appointment with kwikfit (yes - haha), to get 4x Pilot Sport 4S tyres fitted. They have a 15% off Michelin deal and generally cheaper than other places so I'll get them fitted then look to get the alignment sorted somethere (probably WIM still).

Tony moved away from the business a while ago due to illness, but passed on a lot of his knowledge beforehand. Joe now performs all of the alignment work at WIM - he was tutored by Tony, you will be in very safe hands.
