Could be doing what Lotus has done for years, use the same basic tub, but the rear subframe is different depending on engine. From memory, the S3 Exige tub is very close to the S1 Elise tub, they just change the rear subframe and maybe wishbone all round for slightly different lengths to alter geo and ride. Either way, its exciting, and hope it goes down a storm

Think platform sharing is pretty much standard these days isn’t it? Cost saving and all that jazz.

as long as it looks good, has that distinguishable Maserati look about it in some fashion (grill, shark grill holes on the side type thing). Has an ICE that performs well, gets good driving reviews and has a decent sound then I’ll be happy. Not that I’ll be rushing out to but but as a Maserati’se follower of the brand and all that

Nice looking. Maybe fake shots?

Where are those from ??

that’s same as others that were posted so either something in it or a few people jumping on the same bandwagon?

Is that not just a 488 Pista with a few minor changes. Would be amazed if Maserati were allowed to even go close to that shape.

I really don’t like the the black comedy moustache painted on the front, or the overly curved rear end. I hope it has enhanced aesthetics and an n/a V8 when it is finally revealed.

Rumour has it , as far as I'm led to believe, Ferrari built the new Alfieri as the Roma, so Maserati will build the new Ferrari model as theirs.

Sounds like a v6 turbo...

The California was supposed to be the 4200 successor so this doesn't surprise me.

Agree. Sounds horrible. Let's hope they have cloaked the true sound as well as they have the bodywork

OK... yet to see it without the disguise, but so far I'm not impressed.

Where is the 4 seat GT we all have been waiting for?... not some tricked out white elephant Alfa re style that sounds like a raspberry.
