I really like them.
Just a pity they did not fit a back seat, there is room, but they decided on carpeting and luggage straps.
Surprised no one as retro fitted a couple of seats, but I guess the insurance and seat belt anchor points might be an issue then.

A few rear seat conversions have been done, here's one of themalfa sz 012.jpg

There was some more info about them on here http://home.wxs.nl/~evdbeek/monster.html, I was only looking at it a couple of months ago but can't find exactly where now, there were several pics of the conversion in progress. You may have to search, its on there somewhere, there's a little info here http://home.wxs.nl/~evdbeek/szsuit.html but there was a whole article about it but I can't find it :(

Jamie Porter put black front seats from an RZ in his and then modified a 75 rear seat to fit. Not that much work required. When he sold the car to the US he put the original seats back in but he still has the full set should you want to fit them

Love the SZ but a question...WHat are they like to drive these days.....That SZ is 20 years old and alots happened since then......Wonder if it feels under powered or has it lasted the test of time.......Oh and how about dropping a GS engine in her.....

Gosh that is a great price for one, and it does look like a clean one.

zagaotoes, as Andy asks, what is it like to drive? I've kept the original magazine reports from its release on the market and even back then the journos were saying it was a bit underpowered.

I also had a GTV6, and I know the SZ has coil-overs instead of the Alfetta's torsion bars, but the 6 some times failed to deliver what its exotic spec (inboard discs, transaxle 'box, de dion axle) promised. Does the SZ suffer thus or had they really sorted it out by then? I remember Georgio Pianta (he of the Martini rally team) was supposed to have sprinkled magic dust on the SZ's chassis.

I guess I'm just going to have to drive one some day :)

Who knows....I'd only trust an indie inspection on cars either expensive to repair/maintain or those of a classic nature......this fits both really

Its got 72k on the clock thats why..Most do not cover many miles......Look at the one has 300km's on but it's 44k........72k miles at 17k or 300km at 44k...Think I would take the used example of a 20 year old car....

I know Jamie Porter modded one of his to take a baby seat. I always wanted an SZ, but one I could afford it, the 4200 was better value.
Plus my 116 is pretty much an SZ under the skin :)
