Stunning but I reckon as per most Zagatoes it’ll be £100k more than what you think is as dear it as it could possibly be. I’d say it’ll be £250k before googling it.

Googled it, way off, it’s a unique build. £500k then ;). ‘Tis pretty though.

Loving that front end and the bonnet. Still not sure about the rear though and yes you can see some SZ in it.

Love it but how about Alfa do something radical and actually build a front engined sports car you can buy in anything more than limited number(s)?

The design is limited by using the saloon underpinnings of the Giulia, so the dark roof is designed to reduce the roof line visually as there's only so much they can do
on that chassis. The rear overhang is also likely due to the same issue.

But to say it's a dogs dinner is harsh. It's beautiful, interesting, special looking and we should all rejoice that these things are still being made I think.

I have always admired Zagato’s offerings without actually lusting after them. The jewel in their crown DB4Z, or whatever it’s called, is not as well resolved as the original DB4.

My wife has a thing for Fulvia Zagatos. Same argument I reckon.

I thought my only exception was the Flaminia SS, but even that’s not quite elegant enough to justify the tenfold price difference to the original.

Someone’s going to have a nice Christmas though because they’ll be sitting in it. Although I fear they might just be looking at the back of a well appointed garage door.

And it should have a decent boot?

Typical Zagato, looking good, looking good, holy cow it’s ugly from that angle.

I think the DB4 GT Zagato is their best looking car too. Maybe because it was done by the YTS kid, really it was! Spada had pretty much talked himself into the job having done engineering at uni and never having done a design before, Zagato asked him “do you know how to do 1:1s”, he lied and was given the project.

First impressions is it’s too tall. Hence the black roof to disguise it.
But I guess if it’s a shortened wheelbase, but the floor/ seat position is standard guilia the proportions will be compromised. A bit like those short minis.

I generally like Zagato's work, but the subject car doesn't 'do it' for me. A different colour might help, but so would chrome bumpers and overriders!
