Viewed as its role as a sports saloon, I think the guilia QF is pretty much the pinnacle so far. It may actually never be bettered in the future, as manufacturers are forced into hybrid and electric for future model development, with all the compromises that brings.

The Germans are just going more size, weight, power, 4wd, too much tech etc.
Are the interior materials as good as some of the German rivals? Not as different as people make out I don’t think in reality. The actual interior design is good though, no stupid tacked on iPad style screens for example.

It looks great, is light for its class, has a great engine, suspension, steering and driving position. It has all the tech, and more, than you actually need. They are proving reliable so far too.

The only downsides I see are a poor dealer network to look after them, being turbo they sound good, but not great (but all the rivals are turbo too now) and there is not even an option for a manual over here.

I think they will be a future classic in a way no current M3 or C63 will be.
Great cars I reckon.
spot on that why i brought one and i have no regrets

Difference between 65 miles and 119 miles seems excessive at 40k though!
That extra 54 miles for a run out on a Sunday afternoon was a pricey one!
It is, but only if someone is willing to pay either…..Looks like sellers testing the market and chancing it to me, but the market will decide

I think I would take a Project 8 over one of these. If only :)

Keeping up with the forums and Facebook Giulia groups people seem to be selling the post 2020 facelift cars after a relatively short period of time whereas the pre facelift cars really got under people’s skin and seem to have been kept.

I’m pretty convinced that a magazine test of a 2017 car vs 2021 car would show the differences are quite significant in how they drive.

Some suggestion online that the customer had attached a sucker type roof rack at speed.

Not an issue with the facelift cars as they no longer have a carbon roof. Alfa deleted it without telling anyone. Another thing that people refused to believe until I and a couple of others started posting videos of using a magnet on the roof. Carbon ones are bonded flat and the steel ones are sort of ridged at the edges.

You could then option an exposed carbon roof for circa 3k but it was hard to order anyway by the sounds of it.

Think I would as well. Especially as there is one project 8 that has just dipped below 100k. I really love the cheese grater front on them.

Now you're talking! I do worry that the Project 8 won't drop much, it's pretty exclusive and special.

I have a similar powertrain in the F Pace SVR, it's a real corker! The though of more power, less weight and Track Honed adjustable suspension does make my mouth water. It's a crying shame they never made a volume RHD V8 XE, I think it would have really taken it to the likes of a C63.

Get the one with the rear seats and try and make it out as a family car perhaps??!

I always thought the XE S, the 3.0V6 supercharged one, would be a good road car with 340 or 380bhp in later ones.
Also, they did a manual in the f-type with this engine, wonder how easy it would be to convert, all the hardware and software should match?
