Alfa V6 3.0 Spider . What makes this car different is that it was one of Alfas pre release press cars, and featured in CAR magazine, which I have a copy of. It was Registered in Dec. 2000 on an X plate to Alfa Romeo Developments, the UK cars coming on sale from April 2001.
Finished in Coventry green, it is one of 10 3.0lt spiders in that colour, with black leather interior and grey carpets. Reg Dec 2000. Mot due end Feb 2019. It has 99k miles, belt due on time in about a year although minimal miles since it was last done. New Michelin Pilot Sport 3s all round. Two niggles which I haven't and won't manage to get round to fixing, bouncing locks which is a fairly common problem, usually one of the door cables,( lock it and locks open again, alarm still operates though.) and the cat rattles when hot, I haven't had time to check if it's a CF2 or a CF3 engine as it's on the change, 2001 spiders were CF3.
The car is all original, stereo, tools, spare and all keys present.
It drives very well, revs freely, and feels quicker than my 2002 3.0 Spider. I'm not sure if the press cars got some extra fettling.
Selling it, and my 2004 2.0 Spider I use as a daily, to make way for a new arrival.
Looking for 5.5k
