Air filter for QP

Anyone had any experience of fitting the FD performance air filter which they say gives a noticable improvement? Seems a cheap and easy upgrade if in fact it does make a difference.

Went for the BMC performance filter for about 55 pounds against 130 for genuine no brainer for me and made in Italy.

Phil - did you go for the replacement filter in the standard location, or fit it to the MAF in the engine bay and do away with the trunking?

Straight forward replacement filter to go in original housing.
The BMC is a oiled filter like a K and N over the standard paper filter.
