Adrian Flux insurance claim

Has anyone had an insurance claim with Adrian Flux? How did it go? I'm thinking of insuring my QP and my Skoda with him.

I'd guess they are a broker and don't underwrite the policies they sell. So claim handling will be down to the actual underwriter - and many are pretty poor where these low volume marques are concerned.

I've never used them. I did get a quote many years back for the Porsche Turbo. They tried to sell me their 'High net worth ' policy at £900 when my renewal premium with Manning UK for agreed valuation was £360 at that time!

Make of that what you will.

No joy either with AIB either - ridiculously expensive quote.

Locktons is good from all I hear. I had a Locktons policy for two years for both cars. But the premiums became ridiculous and duplicated breakdown cover on each policy.

I switched to a volume insurer who underwrites Locktons policy for a fraction of the cost (but it is NOT the Licktons policy). No agreed valuation unfortunately, but preserved my 10 years NCD accrued with Manning UK.

Not sure this year whether to go back to Locktons agreed valuation policy (doesn't accrue NCD) or stick with an online comparison site policy.

Had the Ferrari 360 Modena insured with them over 10 years ago and had a lady reverse her Renault Mégane into the back bumper using my driveway to get out of the hammer head parking bay.
It was all sorted easily and my car went into Carrs of Exeter the Dealer.

Snap!
A nanny reversed into my 360 rear bumper years ago. Thankfully she left a note!
