ha, yes. Seems that way. TBH I’ve not exactly laid down a clear plan nor had the time or know how to do so, so it’s not really happening. Maybe a spring time meet with some prior planning will work better.....

Yes, when the sun is out, no salt on the road and everyone is just eager to find any excuse to take the car out of hibernation.

I can't attend this weekend but can the following or thereafter. I need to fully charge the battery for a day and am fixing the infotainment NIT. I'm not sure if the car would start in the morning.

I can do a pint around 730PM Sunday at the Crooked Billet or Hand in Hand.

Hi all - sorry I’m not around either tomorrow now - up for a meet at some point though certainly.

If I was in the Uk I’d be meeting Maseratigent for a blether. It would be interesting,
Whats wrong with your Qp......or is it just the usual battery issues from little use?

It was an old battery suffering badly in cold weather and I was unable to charge it more than 4h in one go. All in all not surprising.

I had a good tear up around Wimbledon this evening. While I was changing the battery I had a neighbour say his son loves of the engine noise and two random passing yoofs comment "nice car". The joys of the QP5!

There was some good interest original. Sadly my car was out of action. Given Coronavirus and everything else I suspect this Saturday might be our last, best chance to all meet. How about a drive at 11AM this Saturday 7th meeting on the Common?

Last chance? You think coronavirus would wipe everyone out? I think people are over reacting because of constant coverage. Probably 100 times more people die from cold and flu every year...

Sadly can't make it this saturday, still interested in meeting up.

I went for a spin today (tonic to suffering a bit of angina - impressive at 35 with a BMI <27 right?).

I drove to Phil Collins in the warming sun with my shades on down the A3 today. Then the Unrestricted sign came upon me. I only went up to 78 in 3rd for I surely knew what was coming.... There, suddenly, it was, hidden behind some trees, Surrey's finest with their cameras a-clicking but not for thee for I did not breach 80 (up to that point - or of course later on - it would never cross my mind).

Roaring (sound only, of course) Surrey's empty A roads was blissful.

What did it for me was the ‘no parking at anytime sign’!
I ll be honest, I didn't even see the sign until you pointed it out. Its a weekly ritual to visit the village for bread and thankfully Paul opened once again (was closed for the past 3 weeks or so).
