I'm very pleased to share that the inaugural Cobham services mini-Maserati meet went ahead this morning, with no less than 4 QP's gathering (just in front of Nandos).

Obligatory few snaps:

Upon departure the air was filled with the orchestra of 8 and 6 cylinder Italian petrol engines... symphonic.

Lovely to meet you George, Steven and Bjorn!

Great to meet you Daniel and talk favourite subject. We should do again soon.
Guys, Cobham services had a lot of empty parking lots. Next time we should do a bigger group!

When next to each other it is easier to spot the differences between QPV.1 and QPV.2
That GTS is beautiful inside and out. Previously wasn't sure about the hype but the QPV GTS is probably my favourite maserati at the moment.

If only they kept the shape/styling of the 1st version of the QP....

the only reason I have not bought a GTS 4.7 is the shape!!!

If I could get the 4.7 into the original GTS, then I would be in heaven

WOW! That Grigio Nuvolari GTS is absolutely stunning! It is my favorite Maserati color by far! It is the first GTS I've seen in that color, lucky owner!

I’ve seen pics of a GranTurismo, 4200 and GranSport in Grigio Nuvolari, don’t yet know off another GT S owner with the same colour in the UK.. I think a few GT S owners on here have theirs in Grigio Alfieri and Grigio Granito, I quite like the Alfieri variant too.

I recall Grigio Nuvolari has been described as gun metal/metallic grey with a bronze tinge... looks different depending on the ambient light. She’s overdue a wash and wax actually...

Beautiful car! I'm very jelous! I used to own a 4200 in Grigio Alfieri, had a Cuoio interior, I was so happy with it until I saw a Grigio Nuvolari one with the same interior. I felt cheated! I didn't order the car new, I bought it as a two year old car with a few thousand kms, but thought it was the perfect color combination and was very proud of it. It made it easier for me to sell it since I got it out of my head that it was perfect and I won't find another, and haven't owned a Maserati since. I've recently decided that I would like to come back to Maserati and a QP GTS would be perfect, but I have yet to see one in this wonderful color, have been watching the market since the beginning of the year. This is the first time I see pictures of one, nevermind one that is for sale.

:)

On the 2009 - 2013 QPV GT S models (in the UK), grey was the 2nd most popular colour... 18 in total, behind 29 in various shades of black.

BTW - check out this: https://www.flickr.com/photos/rontonkingranturismo/albums/72157634182287168/

It looks immaculate... so much better without the front number plate, although not keen on the 4.7 badge on the boot.

Oh that is quite beautiful, almost perfect, if only it had a cuoio or brown interior.

Fortunately I'm on the continent, and I have a greater selection to choose from normally, but there are no interesting ones on the market right now. Also I am weary of traveling to see the cars in person as none are actually for sale in my country. I did find a silver one in summer, but the bright red interior put me off. Was up for a good price as well and was a 2013 MY.

To the gentleman in the Grancabrio outside the Rose & Crown this morning whence we mutually dothed our caps....that was funny. I saw a white Ghibli parked on the High Street in the village a little later.

Nice gathering of QP's still one of the best looking saloons available and such good value.
Reminds me of my GTS, grey exterior with charcoal leather / alcantara interior with red stitching.
I think my car was a slightly different grey to one in the photo ?

Lovely that one Mark; it was a 4.2 2008 GTS in Grigio Granito.
