I’ve had the pleasure of having the qv parked outside my place in brum, you should have seen the number of cars that pulled up. Stonking car!

Well that’s two models Maserati that Paul and I share, khamsin & Coupe manual.
Great bunch on here Paul, I’ve just been away too long...

Lovely looking Classico!! Is it the low mileage one that was on AT a month or so ago??
Yes it was the one with no shown reg plate. I bought it from a very reluctant seller Brendan. Hopefully i will care for it as much as he and his wife did. The one thing about buying from a non dealer, is you get much more of the flavour of the previous owners. I saw the Silver blue one near Halifax as well. Again a really lovely guy and very very honest.

Agree! I bought mine privately from a lovely chap in deep south Wales called Bob (78 yrs old). He was adamant the price was non negotiable so as not to waist anybody's time. I bought the car, he then gave me 2 brand new OEM rear tyres (saying they were no good to him now!). As we were leaving he shoved £100 of the money I paid him down my cleavage and said "You will need this to get you home". He rang me a few days later to see if I was enjoying her, I mentioned that the window mechanism had failed but this was just one of those things as this could go at anytime...............Three days later a cheque arrived in the post for £350!!! I told him it was not necessary but he insisted on it to clear his conscience!!!
I am still to this day in contact with him, he went on to buy a GranTurismo as the clutch was starting to become a bit harder for him to use!

Hard to get people like that you know! The art of being kind and courteous has been diminished somewhat!

Hello all.
I have owned a Khamsin for about 10 years and was previously on here under Paul328. However I am here now as a new 4200 owner. I also have a 5000QV; Espada; 328GTS; X1/9 Lido and Barchetta; Passat W8; Audi A8 4.2tdi; So. Now 5 8 cylinders 2 12's and 2 4's. I just need 2 6's and 2 10's!

Passat W8, one of my favourite sleepers had a saloon and a wagon in the past loved them both.

yes the W8 is a great engine. I like the sleeper aspect of the car when you leave most things on the road standing. doen about 200,000 miles in mine
