Superb taste Andy, could not agree more, great car but expensive. It will hold it's value though, look at the CLK Black Series Jezza has, one for sale on Pistonheads, 20k miles, £80k. Dem, you will see the light one day and be a Merc fanatic

It does make you wonder who will buy it though, i like my AMG's but i would not part with 100k for it, is it worth 50k more than the C63/M3/Lexus IS-F or 30k more than the new M5/E63??

Don't get the price tag for the Black Series. The 'regular' C63 AMG is plenty quick enough and has always been available for around two thirds the price.

Nobody really takes to these Mercs based on looks and styling, but the noise from that big V8 is just so wonderful.

The Merc V8 AMG's is immense, they have a really deep rumble, the M3 is more high pitched.
