'The order has been cancelled as the factory have now confirm this is no longer a back order but an NLA part now.'

Fed up with Masarati no longer supplying parts for their older cars? Fed up with them not making alternatives available? Fed up being overcharged for scrap?

Are Masarati aware that they are ruining their reputation by abandoning their old customers and cars? Are they aware that they are just helping destroy their own living history?

Dont just sit back and do nothing. Let them know how you feel about their cr@p customer service!

What part are you after Bob?

Maserati, or more so it’s shareholders are only interested in selling new cars.

Agreed; but why just lie there and take it when my gear nob just went missing!?
I am old - some things are to be expected - but don't you all just get fed up just lying there pretending that everything is okay, whilst Customer Clare walks all over you in high heels - and then insists you must pay for the pleasure?

Would that were the case - servicing and parts (when available) might be more affordable if so!

I need to try not to be the grumpy old man (again) today so I'll stop there.

Must write to the Shareholders warning them that Customer Clare isn't just a Madam pimping new cars to those that should know better than to trust someone selling something that they just don't have any more. Maybe we should all do that that before Fettling becomes a bad habit?

There are examples of vehicle manufacturers allowing enthusiasts to take over and run their 'heritage' parts business. Wouldn't that be fun, imagine some of our retired members being given free reign to make (commission) OEM 3200, chains, clutches, subframes etc... Maserati could make some significant income from legacy vehicles (think about this as you read this Maserati UK)...

In the same vein there's a thread running about pricing games played by picky insurers, and that extends to other walks of life where 'we care' becomes 'we don't care'. It's what happens when companies are run by bean counters and it's a pet hate of mine, perhaps because I too am from an older generation.

It's sad when the philosophy is adopted by those who should protect motoring heritage, but I can't see it improving when the current management seem to regard the Trident as just another badge in the portfolio.

Wonderful idea. Great in principle but it's their responsibility - not ours. We are just the customers.

Retirement home in Italy - Run by Masarati Could-Care? Felchers of the World Unite.! It could be just like the Sixties in age and feeling. I am sure they would love that...

Maybe we should picket their offices in Slough, I know where it is!

Nothing will change unless you complain to them direct so a polite yet strongly worded e-mail highlighting the error in their ways would be appropriate - perhaps you could get everyone to participate in a survey asking for better parts support on the M138 trim pieces (lots of bits for my 4200 are now not in production also)

I think the problem is that while the 3200/4200/GS/Spyder was "mass produced" in terms of production methods they still did not make very many cars in total which will always result in patchy parts support moving forwards. What really brings it into focus is the number of Ferrari 360 Modena/Spyder/Challenge Stradale they produced/sold within 5 years a shorter time period than the M138 chassis which was in production for 9 years (17,653 F360's vs 6,449 M138) therefore which cars will get the better support within the FCA family? I hope the situation will be better for the GranTourismo

You cant have it both ways...
A car with a certain exclusivity, & a warehouse full of spare parts...
What planet are you on ?
:D
People who give up shouldn’t be a Masarati owner. This is fun and far too big a challenge to just give up on. Anyone know if any of the Masarati family are still around we could ask for help?

Would they abandon their momma just because they bought a new one?
