Agreed. I wouldn't worry if it is an isolated one off case of an Italian car on a bad day. Certainly not a known or common issues that I have heard of or seen much.

We do know that bad batteries or low voltages can cause all sorts of weird issues. Was it fairly quickly after changing the battery? Maybe the battery was low on volts after sitting in stock for a bit and needed a little charging.

Yes! About 5 minutes down the road, can’t really be a coincidence, I hope.

That's not good. Was it up hill or flat?

Does it make any difference if in sport or non-sport? Or auto?

I know Voicey has said before that the PIS setting is quite key which is the adjustment of clutch engagement from aggressive to softer with more slip. I've not experienced stalling on a CC but you can definitely feel the TCU interpreting and processing your pedal inputs/moments. He has a suggested best PIS setting.

I tend not to dilly dally around and give the car plenty of throttle as it seems to engage quicker/sharper with less slip and just goes. Sometimes adjusting your throttle too much mid take off can confuse it. Be quite agressive with the throttle and let the electronics work it out.

I wouldn't have thought that clutch wear would be responsible for stalling though as would have thought clutch wear would mean it would slip or not engage gears. Could be a clutch position sensor maybe giving some odd readings. Doesn't sound like clutch wear/life to me if engagements through all gears are all OK at all other times. I certainly had no issues shifting any gears when I had it.

I don't know btw just throwing some ideas into the pot.
On the subject of PIS setting, what is the recommended setting for a GS, mine is at 5.2, and according to the technician who did the check over at a very well known independants sat clinic, that is fine, as any lower could cause creep when in traffic? I actually think it slips a bit in traffic and is slow to take up drive sometimes.
