Just received my copy.

What a quality piece of work that is.
Looks interesting inside as well!

Looking forward to it.

Well done.

Just received mine today. Congratulations Nayf on a publication of fantastic quality both in journalistic and quality terms. I worked in the print and publishing industry for 35 years and it’s a long time since I’ve seen anything of this quality. What a treat to be able to turn the pages and smell the ink. You and your team should be very proud and I wish you every success.

Got mine yesterday, it’s a great magazine, and that’s coming from a really sad car mag hoarder, as I have loads going back to 1979 that I never got rid of!

Plus, didn’t realise the 550 was green from pics of the front cover, lovely!

Thankyou again everyone, it really means a lot. Any observations, positive and negative, are more than welcomed via PM.

Now to start cracking with issue 2...

I’ve been working my way through the first edition. The quality is amazing and the writing very good. Particularly enjoyed the RS500 piece. Nice one @Nayf

This has really surprised me as I though magazines were becoming a thing of the past as it’s all on line these days. I used to get loads but haven’t bought a magazine for years now. Well done Nayf seems like you have a great read with Strada from what I read above.

Also just subscribed...

@Nayf - do you know if new subscriptions will still get sent Issue 1?
They should be but we are beginning to run low of Strada copies. If that happens the best thing to do would subscribe but get issue one via an independent retailer such as Magazine Heaven.
Thanks again all for subscribing, buying and in a few cases advertising.

If you’d like to hear more about the project and why - and how - magazines have a future, I did a podcast with Headboltz, which should be on Spotify somewhere.

My first impressions are very positive. Extremely well-packaged, great quality feel to it. Now I just need to find some time to read it!

I’ve got my first copy! Exactly how I like a magazine, really excellent photography so I can enjoy the pictures first and then get drawn into the articles as I mooch randomly from one page to the next. I was trying hard to not use the word “flick”. It’s going to live on the coffee table with my best magazines. Also a great gift for any car lover - is it possible to do a one-off year’s subscription without it automatically renewing?

Yes the pictures are excellent.

Funnily enough I enjoyed the non car bits best - sort of what was going on in popular culture at the time of these cars.... and Breakfast in America was the first album I ever bought and the Clash was the first band I ever saw live - London Calling Brixton Accademy. 1000's of 6'5" punks and little me being pogoed (for my feet were not touching the floor) such was the scrum at the front.

I managed to cancel my autorenewal by going into my settings...

The photo shoot and driving of the 550 were undertaken in the New Forest (Hants/Dorset).
