Hi - I'm new to the Maserati thing having bought a 4200 facelift manual recently on something of a whim. It is replacing a 911 cab that was bought for the summer holidays last year... great thing but the kids are just getting a bit too big for the limited space in the back.

The 4200 is joining a bit of a fleet, but is the only Italian. Well, unless you count two Panda 4x4s, which you shouldn't. :frusty6:

Thanks to Drew for directing me in here, and recommending Mike at the Maserati Shed.

Oh, and I'm Jim. The Tankslider thing kind of followed me from a previous job. I now run Mission Motorsport, the Forces' Motorsport Charity.

You're welcome Jim - any questions, please fire away, and someone is bound to have the answer for you sharpish. Or they will start talking about something else instead, which is more interesting.

Chaps - please take a look at Mission Motorsport. Jim and his team do great things, and deserve as much support as possible.

...but back to Maseratis, I was questioning my life choices somewhat when on the first morning it refused to start outside my kid's school. Grrr... Getting the servicing up to date, and new plugs seems to have sorted everything, fingers crossed. Mike quite likes it, which is a good sign, and this is a bloke with 2 rotten 914s and a Porsche tractor, so he must be alright.

Welcome to the made house. Nice car. Most of us are a little bit made then there are the likes of benny and Maf who are having a shindig with some roofies. But nice chaps with lots of info on the cars.
