Beautiful colour combination!

I would be really interested in your comparison between the Masser and the 456. I briefly contemplated trading my 3200 for one of these but couldn't justify the significany expense over mine for similar styling and performance.

Fabulous Phil. Great colour combination and looks to be in fine fettle. Looking forward to hearing how you get on. Have you sold your 4200 or do you now keep two Italian mistresses?

That's a cool car Phil.
Are you going to leave it standard or make it ageless with a private plate and some 599 (or similar) alloys?

Not that I think the body shape is dated at all, quite the opposite in fact. I think it's only the wheels and the plate that give away it's age.
Look forward to seeing it one day.

The best colour combi.

Up until about five years ago I used to feel that the 456 was very contemporary but now it's moving into classic status as it does not have that aggressive look that the new Ferraris' have. That's no bad thing. Enjoy!

Lovely thing, a Ferrari V12 is something utterly special! Manual box would have been my preference but I am sure the auto suits the character of the car.

Does it feel as quick as the 4200?

Phil,

Well done pal. Car looks great and I'm so green...I think the 456 is a steal at the moment and you got there just in time.
