At last a great French car....OK it's made out of bake beans tins but I had a lots of fun in mine back in the day.

Loved my 1.6 version more than the 1.9 that replaced it, felt much more checkable without the feeling it was trying to kill me, but don't tell Phil he will think his constant posting of French stuff is working

Agree, mine was a 1.6 and didn't feel short changed when I drove a 1.9.

I

I had 4 205 Gtis (2x1.6 and 2x 1.9) between 1985 and 1990. Took the first on a euro tour (Zurich, Turin, Barcelona). Fantastic cars! Is this a Goodwood Green run out model?

Its a Sorrento Green 1.9, full leather and the last of the full power pre cat cars. I bought it as a project about 10 years ago and carried out a full nut and bolt rebuild/ restoration.
Awesome car to drive, even by today's standards and it was really rewarding to bring it back to its former glory. It got the most attention of any car I have ever owned!!! people really do seem to have a soft spot for the 205 :)

I actually sold it last month. Sad to see it go but on the positive, I have now at least un-Frenched myself I guess.
My attention has now turned to something Italian to tinker with:)

Hmmm... Not usually a fan of silver wheels on the Maseratis but that works! Food for thought....
