That's been in Autoficcina's showroom for a while, where it was up for £50k ... Not sure it will sell today but I'm watching with interest. Some people on here think that the early cars aren't anywhere near as sorted as the later cars, which usually sell at a bit of a premium. I honestly can't make my mind up about the 612. Much better engine than the 456 but I keep thinking it's a much bigger and less attractive car (I was going to say ugly, but that's pushing it!).

Stunning looking in the flesh, and it’s always subjective but in my
opinion, opposite ends of the spectrum. 612 for me 8.5/10 for looks, 456 a generous 4/10.

The 612 has grown on me and from what I have read is the better car in comparison to the 456 which just looks older to me. I know the later 612 is more sorted but there is a big price difference. So an early 612 with a maintenance budget or a latter 612 and fingers crossed.

I'm not sure if reliability is an issue between the early cars vs the OTO. I have a OTO car and purchased it after trying some earlier cars, for me there was definitely a noticeable difference in how the F1A gearbox felt around town with stop start driving in auto as I sometimes daily mine. Also the newer cars have the glass roof which does make a difference on a nice day along with ceramic brakes. I believe engine code was also changed so maybe there are some internal engine variations aswell. As for looks I really like the shape and looks of the 612 with the challenge wheels, I think the right wheels on a 612 make all the difference.
