If ill ever get myself a 4200, it must be converted to that engine next to the taillight conversion.

They seem confused about what car it is. The white text at the bottom right of the screen about 10 seconds in says its a 3200 :)

Also it sounds awfully like a 4200. Not like a flat plane V8 at all.

Flappy paddle gearshift. My 3200GT is a manual so I'm not sure, but I thought the 3200GTA was a more conventional auto box?

Ive not watched it, but isn't it likely that they are saying it's a 430 engine because that's the mistake people make?

Looks/sounds simply like a 4200 to me with stock engine with some mods to up it to 500. We all know that the 430 shares the same basic engine. The have just put the wrong info up at that start it looks like.

No they have transplanted a 4.3 engine into it if you believe the blurb at the beginning of the video (engine 4.3, bhp 500).I'm not convinced, I think it is a standard 4200 and he is in SPORT mode with ASR/ESP off.

The 430 dual intake plenum is too tall to fit under the bonnet and no space for the air filters.

Agreed, while it could be fitted in with a lot of work, I am left wondering why. Belts rather than chains, a flatter engine note, lots of expense (buying the engine can't be cheap for a start), all for an extra 100cc and some slightly pointier camshafts.

Supercharger would be the better, easier and cheaper route to gain more than the F430 with its thicker headgasket to achieve 4.3 capacity or a skim off the top of the piston:)

In reality I believe it's a slightly longer crank throw to a acheive the minuscule capacity in crease.

4244cc vs 4308cc

Over 8 cylinders that's a massive 8cc per cylinder extra capacity hence my thicker Headgasket remark and to give you an idea of how much 8cc is, 10cc is the capacity of the teat in the end of a condom :)

What ever engine it has, it certainly likes to rev greater than 8K in this video!

This is translated off their web site...

17 way adjustable Cup racing suspension, engine power increase to 510PS, governed speed of 7200 rev / min. at 9000 rev / min. increased attachments in Lamborghini orange, F1 shift paddles, body work, stainless steel sports exhaust system, Komplettfolierung in soft gray. Top speed 317 Km / h.

Can the standard cross plane crank rev to 9K?
Maybe it is the 430 engine?

And the flat plane crank....

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the 4200 engine could rev to 9k, in honesty
