Just a quick note, wrestled with removing turn signal unit, tried suction cup etc. Finally slipped a length of fishing line in a loop behind the outboard part of the unit, and pulled it right out.

Do you mean the indicator relay - or the actual unit in the bumper?

No, the fog light/ turn signal unit in the front bumper cover. I went by the how to on bumper removal to get it out, but a suction cup was not able to pull it out. There is a pointy stud on the back that goes into a grommet. Using a length of fishing line looped behind the unit like dental floss, I was able to pull it out using both suction cup and line. Thought it might be helpful to others.

This chappie. It's fits into a spring clip giving a surprising amount of grip. If you've access from underneath - inserting a narrow flat screwdriver between the clip and the back of the stud pushes it out. Took mine out recently when changing my front bulbs.

That's it, I didn't know about it, the how to didn't mention it, and I thought it went into a grommet. In your pik, the far right end is where you can get the loop around, although now that I know about the spring clip that may be easier. Thanks.

The fishing line is a good idea - must admit to a sense of relief when the blo*dy thing popped out
