^^^ what he said! Parking the QP can be a real challengeand often leaves a few feet of front grille poking out into the aisle.

Makes it easier to find I suppose ;)

My thoughts. Though they are only personal.

If you are restrained by budget I would get a 4200 or a GS.

Then when you can afford it get the 4.7 GT.

Have you tried the 4.2 GT? I found it too under powered and once you compare it to the 4.7 I couldn't bring myself to buy a 4.2.

I think the GS is lovely and in your position this is what I would get.

As for parking or manoeuvring the GT is a complete pain. Does not help that the rear of the car is so wide in comparison to the front.

Multi-storey car parks are out with the gt, you can not get out of the car if you can get in a space, which a lot you can't..!! Lovely looking car though, great for driving, not for parking, so just don't stop..!!

My only* destination when driving the Mas is my house! Foreget about parking issues, buy a shopping car if you must use multi-storey **** holes.

(*not strictly true any more as I do visit people and shows)

Yeah made that mistake once. Drove round a multi storey then had to leave!

You soon get used to the size of a GT... I don't seek out multi storey car parks... but I have coped ok esp in a really tight one with lots of pillars in Epsom.... the trick is to try and park next to something equally nice or new in the hope that you won't get hit by opening doors of returning challenge....a space next to a 5 year old Picasso (or similar) too risky for me... Depending on where you are finding a good cell mate can be as tricky as finding a space ...

Spot on! Owned a GT, GT-S and now a GS. I'd go for the GS.
