good thread, do we know what the torque setting is for these as don't want to crush the gasket
Does anyone have an answer for this...?
I don’t want leaks but would like to avoid over tightening it. The one in the car at present is tighter than a nuns chuff!
Surely it doesn’t need to be crazy tight does it..? Same as a sump plug I’d guess?

Yes, same as a sump plug, you want to crush the copper washer slightly but not distort it.

Thanks Greg.
"...taking care not to damage the speed sensor...!"
That's the tricky part...! Im considering just replacing the sensor into the bargain. I'm really not comfortable with this...but I guess many of you have been here before !

I’d remove the inlet manifold so you can see what you’re doing, it doesn’t take that long.
Shouldn’t be too bad with 24mm crows foot or modified open ender.

Just had mine done at Autoshield, by the non manifold removal method, did it while I waited (special tool deployed). My symptom was pressure fluctuating 4-5 bar, needle swinging about for no good reason when proceeding along at a steady pace at low revs.
