Hi All,
I have been chasing a window problem on my passengers door and after many hours of testing switches and wiring I discovered some person had been playing with the door open closed input into the Can Bridge module and swapped the signal wire to the wrong pin location. I have now fixed the window and my door warning display but I have the other wire that appears can only go into the plug in one position. I have checked as much as I can against the 3200 wiring diagram (which turned out to be very helpful) but the functions and wire colours differ in some places.
Can anyone take a photo of the connector “B” for me so I can confirm where the stray wire should be! I can’t seem to see anything that isn’t working correctly right now and being a GT and with no Sky hook suspension it’s possible it’s not a function that is needed?
The wire colour is White with a Black stripe (BN) and there is two of them, one goes to the door open close circuit on pin 14 the other is my problem! My car is right hand drive so the module is secured to the A pillar near the door hinge under the carpet and the dashboard. Fortunately access is very easy.
