Blimey that's was quick, less than 24hrs and a bit of sea in the way. Good old Royal Mail!
I've ordered from eBay an extending wheel wrench that has a 17, 19, and 22mm socket, also a 13mm that is required that will also fit the same wrench, plus a 1.5t scissor jack, all Draper so should be decent quality.
If okay I will post details, only a compressor required (which I have a few 12v compact ones already) and all sorted, and hopefully never required!

I have a set of Maserati tools, but not sure all required in it...............maybe Mike for clarity could you list all tools required?

A parcel sent from London Tuesday still hasn't arrived...thought yours was it!

All the above required, although you don`t need the 13mm socket if you have the Maserati tool kit, however for the sake of a few quid having the 13mm socket keeps all the tools required together.

Scissor jack, extendable wheel wrench and sockets arrived today.
All fit neatly in the space saver with room to spare complete with air compressor, warning triangle, handbook etc.
Need to order the humped boot floor and job done!

Ordered the humped boot floor today at my local main dealer JCT600 Leeds.
They came in more expensive than Eurospares, but as I had my iPad on me I asked if they could beat them on price...no problem!...if you don't ask...£102 inc. vat.
I also asked them if they knew where Eurospares buy from, apparently a European main dealer...they used to buy from them, JCT600!
They are a really friendly bunch the parts guys at JCT600, very helpfull, and like they say they would rather me buy parts from them than Eurospares, they still make money beating Eurospares prices and I can call in to collect, so no carriage cost and a quicker delivery.

I think the Spyder might have more boot space as there is space half height going back at the bottom. There is a string holder there for the tool kit but plenty of room for other things I normally have 2 folding chairs and sometimes a gazebo !
Well you can't fit all that in at once but you get the idea.
The reason is that the hood is long but not deep so a little bit of space where the back of the rear seats would be.
However the humped cover does reduce the overall usable boot space a fair bit.

I was also surprised to see the spare wheel sticking out that far from the space below the boot floor. My original spacesaver in my AC can lay there completely flat and hence, a humped boot floor is not needed at all.

That's also probably why the 3200 has a inflated skinny spare and the 4200 has a deflated wide, well relative to he 3200 anyway. The angle that they are seated.

My solution to the lack of spare wheel.
This is from a Ford Mondeo 2001-2007, it's 5 X 108, 125/85X16,(cost a tenner off E-bay!)
and fits perfectly in the boot space as shown,
second pic. is with the wheel in place and the cover on.
Hubcentric spacer needed to fit as it does not clear the front caliper, fits the rear though, other option is to swap wheels if you get a front puncture.

Silly question but how come the cover sits flat with the Mondeo if the Mas once deflated sticks up?

Is the boot bigger, or just the spare wheel well?

I don't remember my old 3200 boot being any bigger.
