A member posted about a company who had made a number of 4200 and Gransport trim items. However for the life of me I can't find the original post.

Does anyone have any pointers as to who posted it or where it was listed etc... tried the search item but no help and Google search just list a million post on sticky solutions.

Which trim parts are you looking for. There are a few different companies.

Carbon fibre seat backs were made by Devil Engineering. They also sell a few other trim items.

Post the parts your looking for and i am sure somebody will know.

Thanks - yes seen thise and considering.

I have a few final parts that are sticky, A Pillar vents, interior door pull shells, steering wheel shroud.

I know these can be done by hand and elbow grease, but I want to maintain the factory feel. I could send them away but the new items were about the same price if IRC...and plastic tends to break when you try to remove to send away.

You can spend some money solving the problem that way Peter.
Would you get your money back on selling your GS in today's market ?
The buyer would be very lucky.

Probably not... but considering its depreciating and the storage and service cost are close to £2k pa, it is probably time to let it go to someone who will use it.

I only have 9 trim bits to correct and then the car is sticky free... maybe then Charlie will sit in it without the fear of ruined dresses, nails and hands!

Slight thread hijack (ahem) but hopefully help others as well... where is the best place for a new clock surround (bezel?)? In my case, for a 4200 GT

Thats a tough one, think you will struggle there!
Probably a better condition clock from a breaker.
They aren't the valuable time pieces from old, plastic actually, even the bezel is plastic and is probably not removable/easily anyway.

Yes, the white plastic is showing on mine, hence the question... ok, it's officially designated as "patina", then!
