I'm needing a pair of upper rear suspension control arms for my 2004 Cambiocorsa Coupe and am struggling to find new ones at a reasonable price i.e. not keen to pay over UKP3000 for the pair. Does anyone know where I might get some at a more reasonable price?
Thanks
Paul

I have found some original factory parts but asking price was almost £3200 for a pair.

It’s looking like that’s the way I’ll need to go.
Bit of a risk without express guarantee they are good from the seller IMO. Even then, you've likely paid to have them fitted to find out they arent all that after all...>!!!?
Cost of doing business...?

Totally agree - I’ve bought new for all the rest (front and rear) so much prefer that approach if I can find some at a sensible price.

As I understand it- upper rears are the only w/bones not available via pattern/Eurospares units....

edit ; Isay that concious that re: front uppers, I havent looked at availability but the ball joints can be replaced as stand alone, and are available; that you would need to replace the whole arm then seems less likely somehow.....

Yep - that’s my experience. Have purchased lower for front and rear plus upper ball joints for front. Upper rear arms are only ones with an availability problem.

Joining this convo for a similar issue, my lower fronts are shot, and also a 2004 CC Coupe. A quick search showed Eurospares pattern parts to be the most cost effective option. But it’s only so if it’s reliable. Any experience here with Eurospares pattern parts?
Given the experience of this thread, I’ll likely soon be in the market for upper rears as well.

I bought pattern for the lower arms all round and understand they are produced in Italy by same company that made the originals. Rear upper are a whole different story as no-one is making any. I found a few original items around but none at a price I’m prepared to pay so have bought used and when they arrive will make a call whether to have them injected before fitting.

Well, I ordered and received the Eurospares pattern lower rear control arms, then I happened across a Craig Waterman kit sold by Formula Dynamics for retaining the lower control arms and replacing the tie rod hardware. maybe next time.

I bought a set of the Formula Dynamics tie rods along with their DBW unit. The new control arms are being fitted as we speak along with the FD tie rods instead of those that came with the arms.

My used rear upper arms arrived and are usable but have some play ☹️ So before fitting I’m having them cleaned to look new, BJ injected to remedy the play and will also fit new bushes. Bushes are coming from SuperPerformance in UK at roughly a third of price of factory part. Came across them by chance but will save me about £350.00

DBW is a fun couple of hours with the soldering iron whilst contorted on the floorboard, but oh so worth it. After a year of city driving, virtually zero clutch wear so far.

Keep an eye on those FD tie rods. After 10k miles mine were completely destroyed, rose joint smashed to bits internally and the rod itself was bent (both sides). Another forumer had his fail within 2k miles...

I think they are more suited to track use with nice smooth tarmac rather than pitted/pot holed regular roads.

The stock SFK end bush lasts circa 20k miles and costs a fraction, while the stock rod can actually take the load
