If it's only light damage I would be thinking strip it out for a track day car.
Although to the seller it's probably worth more breaking for parts.

Is that the one that was for sale as a project car with light accident damage on the drivers side door and side panel ?

Shame to break it if it can be saved.
I think so Kenny but not 100%.it looks quite straight in the photo on the one side, would be interesting to see the other side. He tells me that he has 2 other masses that he is repairing so I'm guessing the others aren't 42's.

I think your bang on there Phil!! It is a shame to see an other one bite the dust but he knows it is worth more breaking. Maybe take a bit longer to get shut, but with having 2 other Maserati's that he is rebuilding he probably has the room to have it standing there whilst it slowly disappears!!

What could be better getting rid of all the unnecessary weight from the interior just some proper FIA seats and harnesses with an easy 400 BHP would be perfect in my book.

If it is that one. The damage really isnt that bad. Its scuffed down the drivers side. New door and then work on the rear quarter and that was about it.

It looked like either it had brushed past a bollard or maybe the bumper on a wagon had scraped past it.

I think the original ebay ad said project car but minus the wheels. Which would have put people off. 1k for wheels before you start any repairs.

As a track car you could no doubt sell the interior and just pull out the dents.
Paint damage could be covered by decals.

Interior sale would hopefully give you enough for some wheels and a drivers seat and harness.
