Hi All

Purchased a set of new disc through the forum end of last year and am about to fit them. My question is about brake pads. I have been told by Matthew at Giallo the best pads are Ferodo FCP1298H and FCP451H. These are race/track pads and come in at £300 a set which is nearly as much as the discs!! My current set up is original discs on a 2003 4200 CC with 50K mileage and ECB Yellow stuff, they aren't great and i'm looking to improve on this if possible. Has anyone tried these Ferodo Pads and what alternative are there that will improve on my current set up?

Any help much appreciated

Iv always had what feels like an inch of travel before the pads bite. Not sure if this is right or not, but its always been there

For me the 2500s were infinitely better than the yellow stuff I had before and the standard before that. No idea about the standard ferodo but for me they were worth the money - R90 regs mean that all road pads will all be much the same in terms of performance.
