I got a very good quote from A plan Thatcham branch when I had the 4200 , £150 less than any of the scrapers

Me too - A-Plan Thatcham even beat Admiral Multicar who I used to be with. And when I needed a new windscreen, I got a genuine Maserati one with only £50 excess. And I've renewed with them so it wasn't a 'new customer special'.

Pleased to report that I purchased the vehicle yesterday and spent a glorious evening annoying people with the sound, not least my wife. My 4 year old has already staked a claim to it and says “that’s my car when I’m older”!

All good so far - a paranoid moment when I realised the dashboard back said “Sport GT” instead of “GTS” but then noticed the “S” had snapped off. Otherwise, all exactly what I hoped for.

Thanks for advice from all on here. It is much appreciated

I’ve bought 3 of those badges recently, all had lost the ‘S’. Glad you’re happy with the car.

Great looking GTS. Makes a change to see one that’s not black on black or grey on black. They are terrific cars, great to drive and sound amazing. I miss mine. Enjoy

Seeing as this is a second car and I live in London (will probably drive once a week and that could be a relatively short distance) should I be considering a solar powered trickle charger to maintain the battery (I don’t have a garage)?

If you don’t and it goes much longer than a week without being driven you are likely to run into problems

I wouldn't get an outdoor cover , something like a carcoon would be better if it's going to be left outside over the winter and you have the room

If you buy a decent bespoke fitted cover they are very good as long as you are prepared to clean your car every time before you cover it

That, & they can be tricky to pull over a freshly polished car single handed...!

Just found out the drivers seat heating function doesn’t work whereas the passenger one does. Obviously don’t need it right now but just want to check if I’m missing something?

I’ve toggled the roll wheel on the seat itself and then checked on the dashboard but still see a “0” next to the heated seat function?

Perhaps a fuse?

More likely water ingress into the switch units, both seats share a fuse.
