They do sell some nice cars and have an interesting Pub too.
Would like to make a visit one time.
Read the advert twice nearly £16,000 spend in 2018 must of had some work done.
If that failed a PPI you would be well hacked off.

Phil, you are right. What an interesting dealership......Pizza restaurant, restoration and all sorts...I interesting place to buy a car.

Yes agree Phil......Looks interesting. Nice cars as well......
We should go visit once they re-open. Had a few interesting visits and Lance is a very talented and interesting chap. The seller is indeed his eldest sone named Merlin. (after the V12 not the wizard)

Sound like a good idea.

Of all the QP‘s for sale up to 15k this one looks one of the best...

I suppose the whole argument on spending any amount of money on a car that is worth little, has more to do with the timing of the sale. It is absolutely fine and reasonable to do so if you love that example but if you do it on Monday and you put it up for sale on Tuesday that doesn't make much sense unless the ask reflects it.

I’ve spent about six grand on my six grand GTA. Because I love it. Why is that a problem?

I’ve spent more on my GTA than I bought it for too. It does help of course if the car you are spending money on holds its value well, or better, is on the rise.

I reckon my GTA has cost me about 16k, just the buying and maintenance costs, but that’s in 8 years. Probably worth 10k or so now therefore it’s a cheap car in my man maths world.
6k for 8 years ownership is how I see it, that’s only about £60/month, not much more than a fancy iPhone!

In your case nothing if the cars a passion and a keeper. In their case it’s madness.......spend and sell?
As Oneball said, chuck it in the bin, walk away with more cash in your pocket.

Hi Everyone,

I've been lurking occasionally since I sold my 4200 Cambiocorsa back in 2016. I had that car for 6 years and 60,000 miles, loved it, and had assumed after we parted that I had worked Maserati out of my system. Perhaps not! Since then, a fast and efficient S6 Avant which more recently turned into a kitchen - and my main car addiction which is pre-war and chain drive, but that's another story.

However, drawn back, siren like, to Maserati, I have recently been thinking about a QP. Following a certain (but not everyone's) logic, I have zoomed in on a ZF car with passive dampers which lead me to this thread!

I know the world is all over the shop at the moment, but it still seems strange that this car is still not sold. OK, so its a 4.2, not a 4.7, but still??

Is it all down to the subframe?

What am I not seeing here?? It's half the cost of my Wife's electric runabout!

They’re just not selling, don’t think it’s specific to that car.

Fraser Nash or GN?

It looks great to me, especially at 14950.
You would have thought the subframe is ok since it’s just had 15k spent on it and there is a specialist rust buisness on site.

Dom - this car is definitely worth a look/test. The best driving 4.2 QP of them all and a snip at that price.

Gotta be worth a look Dom. Not a fan of black/black Masers myself but helps it being half Alcantara. A GTS or any sporty biases Maser needs half Alcantara IMHO.

You're not the same Dom from the PH TVR forum are you?

Dom, as above.....Best of the QP range for the money and from what a few have said this seems to have been well serviced and being sold by a dealer with a good reputation. If I had the money this is the one I would be the first one I would look at.

I would put strong money on it that this was my GT S! I sold it with 44,500 mile in 2015. There are a few things i done to it that tell it apart.

Thanks for all the encouragement. However, unfortunately, its just been sold!

The big bill did include the subframe being taken down, re-powder coated and replaced.

I should have shut up and just bought it!!
