Thought I would update re the, multiple, small jobs required on the 348. It appears to be running well after a good few years off the road. I had an oil leak, and then a coolant leak which have both stopped. Cigarette lighter blowing fuse, was shorted, removed, and replaced. The front wheels were reversed, these are handed, so were swapped over, got a few emails telling me, so all good now. The tatty thing is slowly getting there. Will post images when resized.

I think spacers are the way most people go. No doubt I'll get round to that at some point :)

That would work, not much just to push the wheels further out in the arches, SZ has the same problem at the back but we have a plan for that.

Took the car down to World of Supercars at Knockhill. Compared to modern Ferraris it appears so small and free from embelishments, nearest in age was a 328 which appeared old. Guess I'll be keeping the tatty old thing :)DSC_3492.JPGDSC_3488.JPG

Modern Ferraris are over styled. Pure is the right word. Porsche seems to be one other manufacturer that doesn't over style.

I was up there with a friend and commented to him that part of what I love about the 348 is the size. Even the F430 further up the TartanTarmac stand looked huge in comparison, though I think another part of it is not having to carry the passenger safety bulk at the front that more modern cars do too.

I probably should have put my car on the TT stand too, but wasn't sure what to do tbh so ended up in the general supercars area, some really nice things up there, real shame about the weather.

I came back from Mallorca, landed after delay at 3am so decided not to get up and drive to Knockhill for this. The weather change helped me cement my decision! Seems to always rain that that event, they have no luck up in the hills of Fife!

The 348 looks nice though parked next to John's Cayman and Mike/Kim's Lotus.

Yep. We were in the drivers room / media centre for a warm up / biscuit / coffee and were chatting to the KH staff in the room who confirmed it's rained every year for that event. Still a nice selection of cars, I wonder what it'd be like in the dry!
