348 TS making more than 200kUSD at BaT

Is it me, or is the 205kUSD end bid for a 5k mile 348 TS a **** of a lot of money, especially with the economic outlook not quite as rosy as it could be (to put things gently)?
Additionally, I find the mileage somewhat hard to believe, looking at the state of the seats (there is an 'above' shot). Or do these just wear very rapidly? (only other assumption is that the PO often sat in it making brrrrrrm noises...)

Very curious to see what this week's auctions at Pebble Beach will result in...

It’s a lot of money, but I suppose there is a market for extremely low mileage, in “as new” condition classics. Not necessarily for driving them. If you look at the pics on the website it is evident that the mileage is credible.
