3200 Timing belt request

Hi All, my trusted mechanic is doing my timing belt next weekend. I’ll be fixing the leather round the airbag and a few other bits. I have ordered the full service kit from eurospares as well as spark plugs, coolant etc....

Could someone email me the pages from the workshop manual that shows the belt change. My guy did do the belt in my Karif a few years back with no issues but I just want to have these pages to hand for reference.

Thanks

Graham

And thanks from me as well, davy!

Quite well timed (pun intended), as I have just started on a timing belt change, as well as a water pump re-build. Also fitting new lamda sensors, new coolant/turbo hoses, etc., plus general engine and auto trans. service.

My work is on hold. The car needs a water pump. Trying hard to get one ASAP but it’s not easy.

Local garage just done belt and few other issues when they dismantled the car to do it. Preventative while they were in there. Going well again and just need to sort out a couple of electrical issues and ready for spring.
Apparently one of the plugs is a pig to get to. When they removed it they reckon previous services had replaced 5 plugs not 6

DA can refurbish them and i think he is pretty quick with the turn around?

Yes I’m getting one from him. Should arrive tomorrow. I took the extra time to refurbish the front discs, the wheels and some new Michelin’s. Also powder coated the cam covers and both coil pack covers.

It’s only money...,,,

My water pump 'kit' was from East Coast Jaguar (USA). I had to make a tool to press in the new seal, however it all went together nicely. Won't know for sure until all the other work is done, and the coolant goes in, but it looks fine...
