Same thing happened to my 3200GT, just 3 days ago. Went though the ritual of re-setting throttle positions - fixed! Not sure if it's 'imagination', but the engine seems to run a bit smoother...

If you are not in the habit of hitting full throttle your car will gradually reduce the full throttle calibration setting and this progressively makes the throttle feel more twitchy, and sensitive, so resetting the pedal calibration can actually make it feel better to drive. Its just further proof it was needed that you have to open it up!!!

It's called an Italian tune up isn't it? :)

Ah but don't forget Loz,if you disconnect the battery at any stage the engine ECU will revert back to the original factory settings and wont give anywhere like full power!

The ECU takes about a 100 miles to relearn, that said taking it to the rev limiter say in second gear a few times defiantly helps to shorten the process;)
