My Xemodex refurbed TB was OK,now has a sticking butterfly valve. If I free it manually it's fine. However, overnight in the garage and it's again stuck shut. What is the best permanent fix ?
P.S. I've read all the threads on this topic & understand it's a common problem.

I also have a surging idle speed which gets worse at higher revs.,e.g. at 2000 rpm it will oscillate by 500 rpm. Help !

it sounds like you throttle body needs refurbished again? how long ago was it done? I mean all the signs point to throttle body issues, so i think you just need to bite the bullet and get it done again. if it was done not long ago, its possible the throttle body had a more serious problem? if that is true you might want to get a second hand one and have it refurbed to avoid being here again not long from now? The surging will be because the ECU is sending a demand to the TB to open (or close) the butterfly and its not moving, so when it eventually does move it goes too far and then has to drive it back again so you get cyclic or surging behaviour, its the same problem, its sticking. it needs at least stripped and cleaned i would think.

Is this the one you spent $1000 on getting done sending it away recently? If so, send it back!!!!

If it's the one you refurbished due to a corroded magnet then you need to send it back as they haven't fixed it properly.
