Don’t know, but looks decent, independent inspection advised, and,
MACERATE once is bad, twice is woeful,
You're not wrong, and that along with the gross overuse of exclamation marks, but hey, it is a car dealer after all.....

Looks very nice, did you notice they also have a gransport with only 29000 miles for under £20k!! got to be the bargain of the century
I did, tell me more about the Gransport jasst, and why it is more desirable?

Well, I am a mere novice with all things Maserati, but most of the seasoned experts on here will tell you that the Gransport is the ultimate of the coupe Range, I'm sure someone will fill you in on why.

If it looks too good to be true, it's probably because it is, and this one is a Cat D unfortunately.

That's why. Stick to you original plan two turbos and masses of torque. The 3200 really is hard to beat .

I know the 4200 GT. It’s manual, Dave T’s old car. Not seen it for about 4 years but was a clean car back then.

If you’re after a 3200, manual is the most desirable, 4200, Cambiocorsa is the much preferred option.

Traded to Dicky for what is now Mr Pea's GS Spyder back in 2012.

How time flies....

I think that 4200 looks fabulous in that colour combo. Interesting that Cambiocorso box considered more desirable than the very rare manual. I know the manual box in the 4200 is not considered great but with just about any other make a manual box is now fetching a fair premium over a semi-auto. This car could be a shrewd purchase given GS is semi-auto only so anyone wanting a manual.....

MOT history indicates car has been looked after since Dave had it but, as others have said, needs a PPI and tread carefully with a dealer who can't spell and who is selling another car without disclosing in the description that it's a Cat D.

Ok. I apologise to you guys about the misleading nature of the thread title, I blame it on the emotion of being a wannabe Maserati owner!
I can however confirm without fear of contradiction that I am now the proud owner of a Maserati 4200, the 4200 that I understand was once in the ownership of Dave T.
I will post pics up soon, (real ones, not the enhanced ones on the advert), suffice to say I happy with car and have found no major issues in the first few days of ownership.

I await the wrath of the 3200 guys.

Thanks Jasst, it has made me grin so far, and any nagging doubts I had about buying it have gone now, it is a fantastic car, and I am quite smitten.

Wrath? Us? Nah, psychological niggles maybe, Enjoy the car it looks good, shame you'll never know if you made the right choice or not, never mind eh? ..Just park it front ways in the drive, it'll feel better when you look at it.

Eh Loz, have you noticed if you park a 3200 next a 4200 the 4200 looks like it's on stilts due to the very high bonnet and windscreen angle:cool:

Is that your shower tray plug hole? If so, it's very nice :p

Don't know what type of shower you have installed like, but..... Its what you're missing:p, front or back you're missing something, bit of a no win situation really. ;)
