It's now all wired and operational; it's not the be all and end all of low end reinforcement but has increased the quality quite noticeably. So all in all I'm pretty happy. I do have a 10" sub, and the box could easily be adjust for this to fit at any point.

The thing I find most frustrating is the EQ on my head unit isn't enough to finely tune the sound. The sub needs a variable phase adjustment as its firing upwards (I have positive or 180 degrees offset). I'll look into a separate EQ to fit in.

Nice work, where did you run the cable from the head unit into the boot, I looked in my 3200 and could not see a simple path around or over the fuel tank.

Looking from inside the boot I used one of the two gromits for the loom. It's easier to see inside the car; the left hand side of the rear seat. Was a bit of a fiddle though.

With a little bit of trimming 6x9's will fit in the rear 3/4 panel on a 3200 - its not easy and plenty of self adhesive audio mat required but they do fit.
